Martinsville’s first Brewster Walk event is more than just a craft beer festival, according to event organizer Johnny Buck.
The event will take place Saturday on the 200 block of East Church Street in front of the Rives Theatre in uptown Martinsville. It will last from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for VIP ticket holders), rain or shine.
In addition to a selection of more than 50 craft beers, the event also will feature live music from The Chris Duarte Group, Wild Ponies and Junto, along with a scavenger hunt.
“It’s more than a beer festival,” Buck said. “It’s also an effort to bring exposure and awareness of some of the different things we have uptown to people who live here and to out-of-towners.”
